Our inspiration
The inspiration of “Only Specials“ was our beloved mother and grandmother, Adriana Johanna Sluyter. Her enduring legacy continues to inspire us every day, and her memory ignited the inception of the Sluyter Foundation in Hermanus.
Her passion for volunteer and charity work was unparalleled, and it's this indelible imprint that she left on our hearts. We can't help but wish she could have witnessed the profound impact she has had on so many lives.
As we reflect on her extraordinary life, we are filled with gratitude for the numerous projects she has inspired through the foundation. And we are thrilled to announce the imminent launch of our latest endeavour, the Only Specials Cafe, which embodies her spirit of giving and inclusivity.

The Camphill team and the Sluyter Foundation both recognise the hurdles these individuals encounter in their quest for fulfilling work.
